About Mrs. D

I’m married to a wonderful man and take pride in being Mrs. D. I currently work as an English teacher but I’m also a trained florist and dedicated blogger. I love the arts and believe that everyone should bring the beauty of art, literature and music into their lives.

OTHER THINGS ABOUT MRS. D:

  • I am a hazard on the road – sad but true!
  • No one loves chocolate more than I do.
  • Life may be manic but I always make time for girly get togethers.
  • Rock music makes me happy.
  • I’m fussy when it comes to oranges.
  • Everyone says I’m way too girly – and I am! I make no apologies for it.
  • I watch very little television these days
  • Along with shoes, handbags and accessories, books are an obsession!
  • I love clothes… but hate fashion!
  • My dream was to marry my best friend and I did just that. My husband is the love of my life.
  • I’m useless when it comes to doing hair.
  • I’m from the East End of London but have never tried pie and mash…
  • …nor do I wish to!
  • I love travelling.
  • Entertaining at home is something I love to do.
  • Black and hot pink are my favourite colours.
  • No one can believe that I love heavy metal…
  • …or opera!

    1. Thank you! This blog is still fairly new so that’s really nice to hear. I wish I had your baking skills. Then I could try to make the stuff I see on your blog rather than just sit there feeling hungry! x
